I did an update on my samsung omnia hd. I8910XXII2 update, and before, google maps and opera worked perfectly, but since I just updated, I can no longer use the gps or internet because samsung can't find any access point or is unable to use what it was using before for these functions to work. Anyone encounter this or know what is up?

@ Zachery
If you have Italian firmware already on your phone, just plug it in to PCStudio. If you don't, follow these steps: http://samsungi8910omnia.com/how-to-flash-and-debrand-your-samsung-i8910-debrand-tutorial/ and use this firmware: http://uploadkeep.com/cg3warx9j0ve/I8910_Generic_Italy_XXII1.rar.html
Then you can update via PCStudio. Make sure you use PCStudio to back up your contacts and stuff, though, 'cause they will be destroyed. After the final update, perform a hard reset (code: *#7370#). Good luck.

I will say the 5.1 over the built-in speakers is nice and it really sounds great! Hopefully some other tweaks are down the road but this update is worth it for media lovers.

Thanks Samsung!
