Spotify app hits Symbian S60Spotify has finally released its app for Symbian S60 handsets, including our beloved Samsung i8910 Omnia HD. Similar to the Android app, the S60 client supports an offline mode that caches tracks onto the phone’s memory for those times when you don’t have a signal.

Before you rush of to download it, remember it will only work if you are already have a Spotify Premium subscription, which costs £9.99 per month. Check out a couple of quick preview videos after the cut.

  1. Do you have to pay for downloading the app AND the monthly subscritption fee? Or is it included in the first intallment of the first month’s £9.99? I like how it caches the phones memory so can still play tunes even when you’ve got no signal, but with the online version of sportify there’s a free option and i resent it that to have the mobile app you need to pay for the premium service.
