Skyfire Skyfire has launched version 1.5 of its mobile browser for Symbian S50 5th Edition handsets (including the Samsung i8910 Omnia HD). The update brings full support for high-resolution screens, a new UI and finger-friendly scrolling (including kinetic scrolling). You can download the Skyfire browser here. Check out a video of it in action after the jump.

    hi

    it looks nice.

but when i am running it on my omnia hd it says: memory is full on c.

    why?

ok so i down loaded it and yes it does work fine on the handset

i would say the speeds are more like opera mini v.5 but the added bonus has to be the built in flash player which i tested on one site and did work

dont think its as fast as the video makes out but defintly better than most web browsers

KAJAN:- sounds like you have been storing all your apps on c try moving them to mass memory you only get about 40mb on c but 7gb mass memory you will have to unistall them and re install them

come to the forum for more help and advice

Installed fine. Speeds seem pretty much the same a Opera 10 (my browser of choice). Flash player worked on the first few sites I looked at but unfortunately don’t seem to be able to access videos on grecianplayer (so I expect its the same for most other league football sites). Some might say that thats a blessing but it’s a disappointment to me! Seems a bit more fiddly than Opera. I love Opera’s shortcuts on the start page and the overall simplicity of the browser. Skyfire is good, but it doesn’t seem quite a clean. It will stay on my phone though unlike every other broswer I’ve downloaded except Opera, so there is good promise.
