Subsidised Omnia HD to hit UK on 15th May?
Posted by soHD in News, tags: The Carphone Warehouse
We have already seen that several retailers on the UK have listed the release date for the sim-free version of the i8910 Omnia HD as 25th May. Now according to this BloggerBase post, the subsidised versions of the phone (with pay monthly contracts) is set to release 10 days early on 15 May. This is the same day that the Samsung Tocco Light is due to launch.
This information is based on a supposed roadmap released by The Carphone Warehouse. It says the phone is likely to be released on O2, Orange and T-Mobile. Earlier today we confirmed that Orange will be stocking the phone. Checking The Carphone Warehouse listing for the i8910 Omnia HD doesn’t hold any detailed information. The date is simply ‘May 2009’ whilst no mobile operators are mentioned. Watch this space, it looks like the phone’s launch is imminent.
